Hi All,

Just back from a great weekend in Kilkee with the club. Got in 5 great dives and there was plenty of craic. But God I'm wrecked!

The sea was about as calm as you would wish but the surge from the Atlantic rollers certainly makes photography difficult; I scrapped most of mine due to blur/out of focus.
The same rollers also made trying to maintain a stop, well, Interesting. 8mtr, 4mtr, 9mtr 3 mtr etc

Cheers

Chris

Glad you had a great weekend Chris - Ive done some beautiful dives down there - bref and myself done Crab rock and the pinacle in one dive there 2 years ago - it was cracking.

I was in Baltimore - Kowloon Bridge and U260 - whopee! the Alondra wreck and the kedges - I think I got some descent pics, Will upload them when I go through them

Kowloon Bridge and U260 are two ambitions of mine - I don't think wreck-diving could get much for a recreational diver.

Bubbles,

We probably saw each other not knowing. (in future if you see an all yellow drysuit Shocked that's me)

The life and colour on these rock formations is breathtaking with a good torch but it seemed that no matter how deep we went (28 mtr'ish) there was surge present which was literally a drag when you want to have a good look at something.

Definitely be going back.

The roads to there weren't too bad neither (we got something to show for the Celtic Tiger years after all ).

Chris
