Thanks Kieran
There was a lot of plankton in the water - as you can see from the snots!
But all in all a good couple of days diving

I was just going to slag you about having all that camera gear and no pics to show for it and then you put a virtual blizzard of photos on the site. Good on Yer !
Nice shots, looks like you are packing a load of light power there. Unless I'm mistaken you have a fish eye in use - what size and how far back were you on average to get that breadth of field ?

mmm
Slag me, Who where, why......
I get the camera out allright, my prob does usually be not getting a chance to go through my pics
Setup:
D300 2 X Ikelite DS125 Strobes and 10.2 fisheye with a 8mm dome port
I was about a metre give or take for some pics, nearer for some like dsc_8048.jpg propably nearer touching cillians face
You have to remember with the SLR - you look through the viewfinder and not the screen so its harder to identify how close you are Im swimming back and forth with one eye open looking through a hole less than an inch in diameter!
Trying not to hit the subject, Others like dsc_7865.jpg about 2 metres away
I hope this helps - no prob in having a go sometime chris - whenever u see me with it just remind me

The famous Julia T ... never dived it. I had one chance but the waves were to high in an attempt in oktober 2008. There will be another chance.

Tom
That's too much camera for my liking. I'd be all fingers and thumbs with it I'm afraid.
I'm looking at maybe getting a high definition camcorder with hopefully wide angle lens ( this will be an ultra cheap rough and ready set up however ). Time will tell if I can get it up and running this season.
