Hey all

Planning to celebrate my Irishness without a hangover tomorrow and wondering if anyone's planning to dive tomorrow?

Am going to test my sea worthiness with the Dalkey Island snorkel. Last year I thought I was going to die, this year I shall be part man part fish!

Do you know what I might head to that, I'd forgotten all about it! Great cause!

Okay just back from the swim, that was tough but enjoying the sense of achievement. Well almost achievement a bad gamble on the turn of the tide meant I climbed the rocks further down stream and walked up the last bit. I still reckon it counts as I got back to the starting point under my own steam!

I'm so glad I did it too, the sense of achievement after (finally) making it back to the pier was awesome! It was tough going alright though, especially when it got a bit choppy and the turn of the tide ruined me getting back to the pier - it was like swimming on a treadmill, I had visions of having to get an embarrassing tow for the last 100 metres..... Roll on next year!
