Hi Folks,
Just back from a lovely week in Lanzarote. Want to say a big thanks to shanegh for recommending Manta divers. They were brilliant, Rachel, Ben, Alberto and Maria are all really nice people, really easy to deal with and passionate about their diving.
The centre is ideally located (<2 min walk from centre to Playa Chica Pier) and well stocked. The value was also really good, 6 Dives with insurance, hiring of wetsuit, boots, weights and tank along with even replacing the battery in my computer came to only €178. Really can't fault it.
The diving was very nice, with swim throughs, caves and abundant fish life (saw 2 angel sharkes on 1 dive) shoals of Barracuda, wide eyed flounder, red mullet, cuttlefish and the massive grouper, Felix with a water temp of 22 at surface and 17 at 33 meters.
I saw plenty of other centers on Lanzarote ant there was only 1 i would have went to and they were more expensive than Manta. As i said i cant fault it, these guys seem to be into diving for the love of it, not making a quick buck. Check them out if you're going over there, i know that if i go back to Lanzarote they'll be the first thing i book!
All the best,
Thistle.
