Hi all,

I have just got the usb / DM interface for my Vytec DS. I downloaded the software from Sunnto and the device drivers are installed on my laptop. However, there is no communication between the Vytec and laptop. I have tried on a different laptop too and have the same problem. Has anybody else Encountered this problem?

Have a great Christmas,

Shane

Seems to be a "feature" of Suunto.

I always struggle to connect my computer to my Suunto Vyper Air

Is the connector attached the right way to your Vytec ?
there are only 2 possibilities, the connector should be over the Vytec.

Did you switch on the Vytec ?

Cheers
Dragstar

Had it switched on and the connection in the correct position.

Called Suunto today and realised that I did not have the Vytec switched to PC mode as I was talking to the lady.

I have the Vytec a few years now. It would be nice if there was a destruction booklet with the usb interface, there is not even one included with the dive computer.

Thanks for your advice though.
