Hi All

Still buzzing here after doing a lovely night dive in Sandycove last night. The vis was great, I didn't feel as baltic as last Sunday morning thanks to wearing two pairs of gloves (thanks to Chris for finding my surf gloves and minding them for me for the most part of a year). We were really lucky to see an amazing octopus which I was snap happy about and the biggest lobster I've ever seen in my life whose front claw was a good foot if not more long! Great stuff, no need for motiviational speeches for getting in to 5 degree water any more Smile

That sounds all good stuff alright - particularly the octopus. I've seen them a few times but they were either in a hole or jetting away from me or I was whizzing by in a current so I've never had a really good look at one.

Some of them lobbys are frightening the size they grow to. I often wonder do the guys who fish for them know how big they can get as I have seen ones that would tear a pot apart ( assuming they could get into one in the first place ).

I'm d.o.d'ing a club dive for 10.15 Sunday if your interested ( high tide is about 10.45 so should get slack water at the 40' if we are in the sea 10.15ish.

Cheers

Chris

Good spot there dazulrich- I thought I'd posted in Chit Chat! Doh!
Hope ye're all having a nice weekend. No diving for me this weekend unfortunately with a sick tummy. Any diving planned for Paddy's Day (I'm trying to lay off the drink at the moment and need something to fill my day!)
