Has anyone ever replaced the capsule in a Suunto compass? They are sold seperately but come without fitting instructions and despite having rebuilt a house I can't find a way to remove the old capsule!

Did it,

Brute force, smash the old sk-7 capsule to little pieces. The case then comes apart and you can see the impossible to reach releases. It all goes back together easily enough with the new capsule.
